Lauren Van Berkel

Credit Analyst

Lauren Van Berkel is the Credit Analyst with Stride Capital and has worked in the financial industry since 2013.

With 8 years of sales and marketing experience, she helps Stride provide an industry leading customer experience. With her customer centric background, she is instrumental in assisting our originations team from application through to funding and post funding follow up.

Lauren obtained a Business Administration Diploma with a major in Marketing from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. In 2012, she was the recipient of the Jason Lang Scholarship; issued for holding a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Lauren went on to complete Investment Funds in Canada from the Canadian Securities Institute. In her previous role, Lauren was named the top mentor/ training coordinator in the Calgary central area among others from across Alberta and the Territories.

Lauren’s experience in direct customer relations allows her to uniquely connect the organization with its clients. She has been recognized with several sales and customer service awards in her last role including quarterly sales winner numerous times and top branch employee. She combines her recent financial institution experience with a solid customer centric approach to help support the origination and marketing team for Stride Capital.
