The Contest begins on July 5, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. MST and ends on September 29, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time) (the “Submission Deadline”). To enter, email a photo of your Stride Capital Corp financed equipment to contest@stridecap.com with the subject line: “From Financed to Fueled Up Photo Contest.” Your email must include your full name, company name, and your phone number. You must attach a photo of the equipment that was financed currently or previously through Stride Capital, as a digital file (each submitted photo is a “Photo”).
Digital entries only will be accepted. Print entries will not be accepted.
Photos can be uploaded electronically as jpeg files; files should be at least 5 megapixels, or 2560 x 1950 pixels; image quality setting: high. Colour correction and tonal cast changes are acceptable; compositional changes, as well as added watermarks or signatures, will result in automatic disqualification. Entries that do not meet technical requirements will be automatically rejected.
Entries will be rejected if the entry form is not fully completed and the entry is not received by the Submission Deadline
Each photo is only eligible as one entry, and only one entry per client.
Purchase is not required and does not enhance a person’s chance of winning. To enter, email a photo of a piece of heavy equipment that you would like to upgrade to contest@stridecap.com with the subject line “From Financed to Fueled Up Photo Contest.” Your email must include your full name, your phone number, and your province of residence. You must attach a photo of a piece of heavy equipment that you would like to upgrade, as a digital file (each submitted photo is a “Photo”). Digital entries only will be accepted. Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), except employees (and those with whom such employees are domiciled) or agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates and their respective advertising and promotion agencies, and the contest judges. For any entrant who has not reached the age of majority, parent or guardian consent is necessary to enter the Contest. In the event it is discovered that you entered without consent from your parent or legal guardian, all entries will be void. For minors entering the Contest, the terms “You,” “entrant,” and “winner” mean parent or guardian of that person.
Submitted Photos must never have been previously published or accepted for publication in any media, exhibited publicly, or selected as a winner in any other contest.
You must have taken the Photo that you submit for the contest. You must have the consent of all individuals who are included in the Photo and consent from the individuals who own the property and equipment featured in the Photo. Photo cannot show background artwork or items (including but not limited to clothing, tools, and vehicles) bearing business, designer, or sports logos or designs.
You represent and warrant to Sponsor that any submitted Photo is not defamatory or obscene and does not violate the rights of any third parties or any applicable laws.
Contest Sponsor may disqualify any Photo that it deems, in its sole discretion, not to abide by any of the foregoing eligibility or submission requirements.
By entering the Content and submitting a Photo, you grant (and warrant that any individuals shown in the Photo grant) to Sponsor, its affiliated companies and each of their licensees, successors, and assigns (together, the “Licensees”), an exclusive, perpetual, worldwide and royalty-free licence to edit, publish, use, and exploit the Photo, in whole or in part, in any format and in any media (including without limitation print; websites, social media platforms and other internet or mobile use; television and film; and any advertising or promotional use), for any commercial or non-commercial use, without attribution or compensation to you or any third party, other than the awarding of the prizes under this contest. You acknowledge that Licensees may modify the Photo; you hereby irrevocably waive all moral rights in connection with the Photo.
You warrant that you control all rights in each Photo, and will maintain the ability to grant the foregoing exclusive license to Sponsor, free of any limitations, restrictions or third party obligations. In addition, if a Photo is chosen as a winner, all original material, including digital capture files, must be made available to Sponsor as a condition of receiving a prize.
You agree that Sponsor and other Licensees shall have the right to determine the extent and manner of use of any submitted Photo in their sole discretion and are not obligated to use any Photo. You agree that Sponsor is not responsible for return or preservation of any Photo.

There are three prizes available to be won, consisting of one (1) $1000 electronic fuel card and a feature on the front of Stride Capital’s 2024 Calendar which will be shared with Stride Capital clients as a first place prize, one (1) $500 electronic fuel card and a feature in the Stride Capital 2024 Calendar as a second place prize, and one (1) $250 electronic fuel card and a feature in the Stride Capital 2024 Calendar as a third place prize. Standard gift card terms and conditions set by the applicable merchant shall be applicable to gift card prizes.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or convertible to cash. No substitutions except at the Sponsor’s option. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or a prize component with one of equal or greater quality or value. All incidental costs and expenses not specifically included in the prize descriptions shall be the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Taxes on prizes, if applicable, shall be the sole responsibility of the winners. If the winner is a minor in his/her province, territory of residence, such winner’s parent or legal guardian must accept the prize on his/her behalf.
All eligible photos will be entered into Stride Capital employee voting in order to choose the winners, and the winners will be selected on October 2, 2023. The first, second, and third place winners will be contacted by October 10, 2023. If you have not been contacted by this date, you may assume that your entry is not a winner.
Odds of winning depend on the number and calibre of entries received.
Entries not complying with these contest rules will be disqualified.
No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected winners.
This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. Void where prohibited by law.
Selected winners (or winner’s parent or legal guardian if winner is a minor) will be required to sign and return a standard Declaration, Liability and Publicity Release, releasing the Sponsor, prize suppliers, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies, and the contest judges, from any and all liability arising directly or indirectly from this contest, participation in contest related activities, the awarding of a prize, and the use or misuse of any prize.
By entering the contest, selected winners agree to comply with these official contest rules and agree to the publication, reproduction, and/or other use of his/her name, address, voice, statements about the contest, and/or personal photograph or other likeness without further compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by the Sponsor in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast, or digital.
The Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies, and the contest judges are not
responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or delayed entries. Without limitation, the Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies, and the contest judges will not be liable for the failure of any entry or Photo to be received.
The Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw or amend this contest in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that interferes with the proper conduct of this contest as contemplated by these Rules. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend this contest in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind without prior notice or obligation.
By entering this contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing, and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry only for the purpose of administering the contest and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy found at www.stridecap.com, unless the entrant otherwise agrees.
