We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Michael Segatti, new Account Manager here at Stride Capital. Michael will be serving our valued clients in Ontario. Keep reading to learn more about Michael, his previous work experience and education, the future opportunities he sees within his new role, and what keeps him busy when he’s not at work.
Tell us about your previous work experience and education and how it led you to Stride.
I have an extensive range of experience in several business lines including financial services, customer service, credit, sales, and business development. After various career experiences, I began working in equipment finance in 2011 and soon realized I had a passion for the industry and people. I worked for a large financial institution in asset-based lending sales before joining Stride Capital. This prior experience, along with the diverse skills I gained in my previous roles, allows me to service a wide range of clientele, in a way that best suits their business in order to help them achieve their financial goals. Stride was an ideal fit for this mindset, so when the opportunity came up, I was excited to be part of this growing team.
What are you looking forward to about your new role as Account Manager for Stride?
I’m looking forward to servicing and supporting clients in the most efficient way possible to help them grow their business while building long term relationships. One of the most appealing aspects of Stride Capital is its team, culture, and vision for the direction of its future, a future that I can say without doubt I am very happy to now be a part of.
What opportunities do you see as part of Stride and within this new role?
I know there are opportunities to grow the current territory in Ontario while also building long term relationships with vendors and end-users by providing best in class service. I believe that helping to ensure high retention rates and customer satisfaction, while upholding the organization’s outstanding reputation within the equipment finance sector leads to job fulfillment and along with that comes success. Stride Capital is clearly in growth mode and it’s an exciting time to be joining such a supportive and knowledgeable team.
What sectors do you specialize in and what opportunities do you see on the horizon?
I have extensive experience with various equipment assets across all industries. These include Construction, Manufacturing, Material Handling, Light Industrial, Office Equipment, and more.
What is your life like outside of work?
Life outside work has been great. I live in Milton, Ontario where my wife and I are raising three beautiful daughters, ages 13, 9, and 5, that keep us on the go. We also have a dog named Rocky that is also a special part of the family. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and travelling to create lasting memories.
